- We are hoping to achieve PLATINUM Sportsmark award for another year for our sports provision.. watch this space!
- We sent a teams to participate in the Lancashire Youth Games: Y5/6 Trigolf
- We won SILVER in the HRVSSP orienteering competition.
- we won BRONZE medals in the HRVSSP KS1 New Age Curling competition.
- We finished in BRONZE position in the HRVSSP netball league
- 100% of our Y5 and Y6 children were given the opportunity to represent school this year on at least 4 occasions;
- 100% of KS2 children represented school at events this year
- 100% of our KS1 pupils represented school during this academic year.
- This year, we provided extra curricular clubs in: Girls football, boys football, cricket, sporthall athletics, athletics, dodgeball, tennis, rugby, trigolf, dance, Kurling, netball, Fundamental movements skills, daily mile, martial arts, archery and hockey.
SWIMMING
Children attend an intensive 2 week swimming course in Year 3 and 4, swimming for an hour every day. Some children attend a further 2 week intensive course when they are in Years 5 and again in Year 6 if they have not met the required standard, but this is funded through the school's funds for swimming.
